UN WOMEN VISIT TO LIWOMAC - Phumzile Mlambo Ngcuka, Executive Director of the United Nations Women

The Executive Director of the United Nations Women has pledged the organization’s commitment to further partner with the Liberia Women Media Action committee.

Phumzile Mlambo Ngcuka says LIWOMAC can rely on the UN women for support in its efforts to address the issues of Liberian women.

She also disclosed that the UN women will partner with LWDR to ensure women issues are effectively raised, especially during the pending 2017 general and presidential elections.

According to her the medium must be provided for women candidates to explain their platform while information should be given across women to help them understand the platforms of politicians.
